Standard Opening

Chlorine pools up to 25,000 gallons with standard equipment

$249–$349
  • We carefully remove your winter cover, clean it thoroughly to prevent mold and mildew, fold it for storage, and inspect it for any damage that may need attention before next season.
  • All hardware removed during closing—ladders, handrails, skimmer baskets, return fittings, and drain plugs—is reinstalled and tightened. We check for corrosion or worn parts that could be a safety concern.
  • We reconnect all plumbing lines, reinstall drain plugs on the pump, filter, and heater, then prime the system and verify water is flowing properly through all equipment before moving on.
  • Every piece of equipment is turned on and checked to confirm it’s operating correctly—pump, filter, heater, chlorinator, and any timers or automation. We note anything that isn’t functioning as expected so you can arrange repair if needed.
  • We test your water for chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and stabilizer levels. This full panel tells us exactly what your pool needs to get back into safe, balanced condition after the winter months.
  • Based on the chemistry test, we add the right combination of shock, pH adjusters, alkalinity increaser, and stabilizer to bring your water into proper balance. All chemicals are included in the opening price.
  • We skim the surface, brush the walls, and vacuum the pool floor to remove any leaves, dirt, or sediment that accumulated over the winter. Your pool will look noticeably cleaner before we leave.
  • You receive a detailed report covering everything we did, all chemistry readings, equipment status, and any recommendations. This gives you a clear picture of your pool’s condition heading into the season.

Complex Opening

Large pools, neglected pools, or pools needing extra attention

$379–$479
  • Includes every service listed under Standard Opening: cover removal, hardware reinstallation, equipment reconnection and function check, water testing, shock treatment, debris removal, and a written report.
  • Pools that were left uncovered, went green over the winter, or haven’t been serviced in a while often need extra chemical treatment. We use higher doses of shock and algaecide and may treat the water in stages to bring it back safely.
  • We spend extra time running each piece of equipment through a longer test cycle, checking for leaks, unusual noises, or performance issues that might not show up in a quick check. Ideal for older equipment or pools that sat unused.
  • For pools with heavy leaf buildup, silt, or algae on the floor, we do a more thorough multi-pass vacuum and extra brushing. This may include vacuuming to waste to avoid overloading the filter with debris.
  • Some neglected pools need a second round of treatment once the initial chemicals have had time to work. If your pool needs it, we come back within 48 hours at no extra charge to retest, rebalance, and re-vacuum.

Weekly Maintenance

Essential

Core maintenance for pools in good condition

From $199/month
  • We come out once a week on a consistent schedule so your pool is always maintained. You’ll know which day to expect us, and we’ll notify you if anything changes.
  • Every visit includes testing for chlorine, pH, and alkalinity at a minimum. We adjust levels on the spot to keep your water safe, clear, and comfortable for swimming.
  • Chlorine, shock, pH adjusters, alkalinity increaser, stabilizer, algaecide—everything your pool needs is included in your monthly price. No surprise chemical bills or trips to the pool store.
  • We skim the entire water surface to remove leaves, bugs, pollen, and any other floating debris. This keeps your pool looking clean and prevents debris from sinking and staining the floor.
  • Clogged baskets reduce water flow and put strain on your pump. We empty and rinse the skimmer basket and pump strainer basket every visit to keep circulation running efficiently.
  • We check the filter pressure gauge each visit to make sure it’s in the normal range. Rising pressure means the filter is getting dirty and may need a backwash or cleaning, which we’ll flag for you.
  • We visually and audibly check that the pump, filter, and other equipment is running properly during each visit. If something sounds off or isn’t performing right, we’ll let you know so you can arrange a repair.
  • After every visit you receive a report documenting what was done, your current chemical levels, and any notes or recommendations. You always know exactly what’s happening with your pool.

Pool Closings

Proper winterization protects your investment and makes next spring’s opening faster and easier. Pricing is based on pool volume—use the calculator below to get your exact rate.

Standard Closing

Complete winterization for standard pools

$299–$399
  • Before closing, we test and adjust your water chemistry one last time. Properly balanced water over winter prevents staining, scaling, and algae growth, making next spring’s opening much easier.
  • We add a winter chemical kit including algaecide, stain preventer, and a slow-release chlorine floater designed to keep your water protected throughout the months your pool sits dormant.
  • We lower the water level below the skimmer and return jets to prevent freeze damage to the plumbing lines. The exact level depends on your pool type and cover setup.
  • Using a high-powered air blower, we force all water out of the return lines, skimmer line, and main drain line. This is the most critical step in winterizing—any water left in the pipes can freeze, expand, and crack the plumbing.
  • After blowing the lines, we install expansion plugs in the return fittings and a Gizzmo in the skimmer to absorb the pressure of any ice that forms. This protects your plumbing and skimmer from freeze damage.
  • We remove all drain plugs from the pump, filter, heater, and chlorinator so any remaining water can drain out. This prevents freeze cracking in the equipment, which is one of the most expensive winter damage issues.
  • Ladders, handrails, and other removable accessories are taken out and stored to prevent damage from ice, snow, and winter weather. This also makes it easier to install the cover properly.
  • We install your winter cover and secure it with water bags, cables, or anchors depending on your cover type. A properly installed cover keeps debris out, blocks sunlight to prevent algae, and protects your pool all winter.

Complex Closing

Large pools, complex plumbing, or safety cover installation

$449–$529
  • Includes every Standard Closing service: final chemistry balance, winterizing chemicals, water lowering, line blowing, plug installation, equipment draining, hardware removal, and winter cover installation.
  • Pools with multiple return lines, water features, spa connections, or complex plumbing layouts need extra time and attention to ensure every line is completely cleared. We blow each line individually until we’re confident no water remains.
  • Safety covers with anchored spring hardware take more time and precision to install than standard covers. We ensure every anchor is properly tensioned so the cover is taut, secure, and meets safety standards throughout the winter.
  • You receive a comprehensive report documenting the closing, final chemistry readings, equipment status, and notes about anything to address when the pool is opened in the spring. This makes next year’s opening smoother and faster.
